JooRi Jun, ND, leads the Oregon Nonprofit Hospice Alliance with a unique blend of expertise as a licensed primary care provider, spiritual care provider, and experienced leader in nonprofit, community-based healthcare. She has always been drawn to the intersection of medicine and spirituality, which is what brought her to work in the hospice sector. She has over 16 years of diverse leadership experience, especially with convening multi-sector stakeholders. She grew up internationally before coming to the United States for college and naturopathic medical school. Her areas of interest are in health equity, holistic end-of-life care, and death education.

Michele Adkinson

Staff Accountant

Michele, a native of Boise, Idaho, is a dynamic professional with a diverse background. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Northwest Nazarene University. Throughout her career, Michele has amassed valuable experience across various industries, including manufacturing, farming, and brewing. Michele’s passion for accounting stems from her love of problem-solving. She thrives on working collaboratively with others and believes that “no two days are the same”.

Michele, along with her partner Paul, resides in Silverton, Oregon, where they are raising three wonderful children: Summer, Kelsen, and Max. She is also the proud mother of two older daughters who live in Utah. Michele is an avid adventurer and stays active by pursuing her interests in ballet, boating, and paddleboarding.

Rachel May

Finance and Billing Specialist

Born in Washington and raised in Oregon, Rachel is a true native of the Pacific Northwest. She loves spending time outdoors with her husband, their golden retriever puppy, Cinder, and their combined six children. Rachel has a long history working in the hospice industry, starting out as a CNA caring for hospice patients in their homes, then moving into the office as the Biller/Operations Assistant, and finally to her position with ONHA as the Finance and Billing Specialist. Rachel earned her Associate degree in psychology from Linn-Benton Community College, as well as a certificate in accounting from Chemeketa Community College.

Lori Kayser

Administrative Assistant and Project Coordinator

​Lori began her journey in administration in the insurance industry, pioneering automated systems, honing her skills in training and team leadership, and transitioning to become an invaluable asset supporting CEOs and business owners in private aviation, advertising, high tech, commercial real estate, architecture, and healthcare. Lori is a master of event planning and project management and thrives as a strategic partner, propelling companies toward their goals and nurturing team collaboration.

Outside the workplace, Lori enjoys travel and the creative arts, expressing her creativity through fashion, writing, painting, and decorating. As a trained life coach, she reads extensively on the topic of personal growth and is on a mission to empower others to discover their best selves and lead their best lives.
